1969 Mustang Convertible Yellow

Here is a super rare find. This low production 1969 beautiful Mustang Convertible that's  presented the way she left the factory! No fake scoops, spoilers, after market wheels, etc..   

This is a documented three owner car, 98,000 miles and accident free. The original owner of this classic lived in Connecticut. The car was actually delivered a few miles away from where he lived. The delivery (DSO 13) is  New York. It was only driven in the spring & has mostly been tucked away in the garage. The car has a actual documented unbelievable 98,000 miles!

It’s a very original convertible Mustang and has only had one repaint. The color is absolutely stunning! The particular factory Ford color is the gorgeous (W-Code) Meadow Lark Yellow. The color is very difficult to capture in its original form. This one is exact to factory specs thanks to the previous owner's extraordinary effort in finding the exact Ford Mo. Co. color and mix codes before the paint job began. If you are tired of the typical black, blue, and red classic cars this  is the pony for you! There are only a couple of paint chips on the car and they are small in nature. The overall finish is extremely nice. 

The car is a sheer conversation piece each and every time she leaves the garage.  

The (2-A Code) black kiwi vinyl standard buckets with black power top/(dealer installed door moldings?) offsets the yellow exterior nicely & looks awesome on this Mustang. The contrast is striking! The power top is about 1 year old and it works great. Although the 1969 Mustang Convertible is a low production automobile this one is made even more special being a factory produced 351 V-8 Convertible! The car still has it’s original block, snorkel, air cleaner, and all equipment under the hood. Most of the V-8 Convertible cars were produced with either the 6 cylinder or standard 302 V-8 motors. If you were lucky enough to have a 1969 Mustang convertible with a 351 motor it would almost certainly come in the form of a GT model. Two thirds of the Mach 1 cars that  left the Ford factory received  the same power plant that this particular pony has. A brand new four barrel Eldel Brock carburetor and a original Ford factory 351 M-Code intake manifold was recenlty installed. I have the original 351 2-barrel intake and factory Ford Motor Craft original carburetor that the car left the factory with {still functioning properly}. So far as the transmission is concerned this ponies work horse is the optional highly rated FMX Cruise-O-Matic. This one's a true throwback to 1969 with almost every nut and bolt being original. You won’t find many 1969 Mustang convertibles that came with a factory in dash tachometer. However this one does, as Ford felt this pony was lethal enough to have one. The tach option is stated in the Marti report. It is a true muscle car and has a factory Ford 9 inch rear/posi!  This particular Mustang also came dressed from the factory with E-78x14 white side wall tires. The set hugging the factory magnum 500's now are said to be only the second set of tires she’s ever worn {they are in excellent shape}.  Other options include: power front disc, power steering, exterior décor group, glass back lite, and visibility group. This Mustang has a very rich thorough documented history also. Included also is the original oil change records, maintenance records, and factory Ford 1969 Mustang manual stamped by the dealership in Bridgeport , Connecticut. It was also signed by the original owner in 1969! Also included is the Ford factory warranty booklet, original 1969 Mustang brochure and too much more original 1969 documents to list {Not reproduction manuals !}. There also is a short list of parts that have been replaced recently, they include: PVC valve, drain plug, oil change, all hoses, belts, 3 core radiator, radiator cap, battery, fuel pump, water pump, plugs, gas tank, ford motor craft wires, 351 M-Code intake, Eldel Brock 600 CFM carb with electric choke, Pertronix ignition, alternator, thermostat, coil, and too much more to list, etc.

 

There are also a few new parts that will be included. The leaf springs on the car are in great shape and the coil springs are new. The under body is solid and they’re no rust issues. Clean shock towers and beautiful stock engine bay. Garaged and covered the sell includes the factory spare and jack, and new car cover.
