1969 FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK MACH 1 PACKAGEFULL FRAME-OFF RESTORED
A 1969 COMPLETELY RESTORED FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK. THIS CAR IS EQUIPPED WITH A REBUILT 2V 351 WINDSOR ENGINE AND REBUILT TRANSMISSION. EXTERIOR IS CANDY APPLE RED WITH CORRECT STRIPING AND BLACKED OUT HOOD. ADDITIONAL FEATURES INCLUDE: NEWER SEAT COVERS, HEADLINER, CARPET, DASH PAD, DOOR PANELS, MAGNUM 500 WHEELS, NEW FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS, NEW DUAL EXHAUST. This car is originally a 63A car, meaning it was a 351 V8 Fastback. It underwent a full frame off restoration, bringing it up to Mach 1 standards from almost every aspect.
There are over $25,000 worth of receipts. Over $40,000 worth of parts and labor went into this restoration. This car was professionally appraised in 1999 for $25,000. Receipts are availabe for parts that were replaced during the restoration and some of these are listed below.
ENGINE / DRIVE-TRAIN
351W - rebuilt .030, approx. 5,000 on rebuilt drive-train
Small Comp after-market camshaft. The engine fires right up and runs flawlessly. There are NO knocks, squeaks, whines, leaks or rattles coming from the engine or transmission. The 351W has great power and sounds tough but still plenty streatable for even daily driving. The car is ready to go for a weekend road trip, day at the track, or even a car show! The transmission shifts smoothly into all gears. The A/C works great and blows cold. It warms up slightly if sitting at a red light but cools right off when driving. The power steering and disk brakes make this classic Mustang a joy to drive!
INTERIOR
All components have been replaced or repaired to complete the restoration. The interior is in full functioning order and has no rips or tears. The radio works great and all the interior lighting is in working order.
EXTERIOR
This car was professionally restored and repainted. I would rate the paint 9.5 out of 10. It was repainted in the early 90's and has been in storage since. It was stripped to a shell, the proper way, and put on a rotisserie. New undercoating was up underneath the car. There is only one paint chip on the whole car, it is on the driver's side towards the rear quarter panel right below where the quarter window is. It is bairly noticeable and has been touched up with the correct color paint. Please see picture below. There is no rust on this car, please see the pictures.
